One of the most inspirational stories in the world of sports is the father and son team of Dick and Ricky Hoyt. Often featured on the annual NBC broadcast of Ironman Hawaii, their story will touch you to the core. It might even get you thinking about doing a triathlon. Or maybe even an Ironman someday.

What a great and inspirational story.
What a great and inspirational story. It is one of the many things I love about Triathlon training, there are so many great and inspirational stories, you don't need any more motivation then you can get from these stories, and if you do, then go out and find more stories. I know when I watched this video on youtube for the first time, it actually brought tears to my eyes, and no I'm not afraid to admit it. It is a very touching video and a very touching story, since seeing this video I have read a few things about this father and son duo, and boy what an amazing family and and amazing story. If they can do it, then why can't we???
