There are no words to really describe this awesome night of fun in Chicago.
Grant Park... 10,000 runners... five live bands... food... beer... more food... more beer... great friends.
This is why we run!
Our crew included Suzy, Rich, Mary, Jim, Laurie, Drew, Steve, Kim, Laura, Katie, Tracy, Mike and Pat along with other Wednesday night Nike Naperville runners.
And yes, those are pizzas on the 1:00 A.M. train back to the burbs. We laughed the whole way home. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!!

This was a great experience!
This was a great experience! I figured it would be fun, but it really exceeded my expectations. The best part was that so many of us temporarily put thoughts of speed work on hold, and ran together as a group, stopping to listen to each and every band, and to show them our appreciation. The whole night was an absolute blast!! I thought for a bit we'd be forced to hike back to Naperville, but we managed to run with our three pizzas and catch the last train, though somehow the pizza boxes were a bit lighter by the time we found our seats...
